Maybe you and some friends don’t have developmental concerns for your infants, but you would appreciate some guidance for how to play with your babies in a way that fosters their continued development! This course is for caregivers who would appreciate a little direction and support with their infant’s play.
Carly, a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in infant development, will guide you through 30-40 minutes of play (depending on babies’ tolerance!) and there will be time built in at the end for any questions you may have. It is recommended no more than 4 baby/caregiver dyads be present to allow attention to each participant.
Upon request, Carly can also screen any infants present during play if you are unsure if they could benefit from an evaluation with an OT or other developmental professional local to you.
After your coaching session, you will also receive a handout summarizing the key takeaways for play covered during your session, as well as a guided list of infant developmental milestones.
