About Me
Carly Clearwater, OTR/L, IBCLC is a pediatric occupational therapist and international board certified lactation consultant, in addition to her role as a mom of two toddlers! Carly is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care to the families she works with. She is known for her friendly, relatable approach as it is important to her that the parents, infants, and young children she works with feel comfortable and safe at all times. Carly aims to empower parents with the knowledge and skills to confidently support their babies with all their daily occupations (eat, sleep, poop, & play!), to build a strong foundation for their continued childhood development.
Professionally, she received her Master’s degree in occupational therapy from Seton Hall University and started her career in a children’s hospital inpatient/outpatient mixed setting, working in complex units including the NICU, PICU, and oncology. She has also worked in early intervention and an outpatient pediatric clinic.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with family & friends, unwinding with some yoga or getting lost in a good book!
